~Announce Winners of the Inaugural Tally Startup Challenge~

New Delhi, June 11, 2026: Reinforcing its commitment to fostering innovation for India’s business ecosystem, Tally Solutions, India’s leading business management software provider, along with Startup India and the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), announced the winners of the inaugural edition of the Tally Startup Challenge at a leadership gathering held in New Delhi.

Launched under the Bharat Startup Grand Challenge, the Tally Startup Challenge was conceptualized to encourage startups to build practical, scalable technology solutions addressing real-world business challenges faced by Indian enterprises. The first edition focused on the theme “Capacity 360 – Better Planning, Better Productivity,” inviting startups to develop solutions that could help manufacturers improve operational efficiency, planning, and productivity.

The inaugural edition received close to 100 applications from startups across India. Following a rigorous multi-stage evaluation process involving Tally’s engineering leadership and an expert jury panel, six startups were shortlisted as finalists.

At the event, Resonating Mindz, founded by Avinash Manerahimatpurkar, was announced as the winner, while Digital Gemba, founded by Shashidhar Ranganath, was named the runner-up of the inaugural edition. Both startups were recognized for developing innovative, practical solutions that have the potential to address critical operational challenges faced by Indian businesses.

The leadership gathering also brought together startup founders, investors, policymakers, ecosystem enablers, and industry leaders for conversations around innovation, governance, trust, and long-term business growth. The programme featured keynote addresses by senior government and industry leaders, insights into Startup India initiatives, and a panel discussion titled “Building Trust Before Valuation: The New Currency of Indian Businesses,” which explored how transparency, accountability, and strong business fundamentals are increasingly shaping the next generation of Indian enterprises.

Speaking about the initiative, Tejas Goenka, Managing Director, Tally Solutions, said, “We see many startups trying to help make Indian business owners’ lives easier, and with the Tally Startup Challenge we saw some incredible ideas that took on real opportunities to create solutions. With the encouraging response that we have seen, we are looking forward to seeing how we can help more such creators build for business owners in India and globally.”

Through such initiatives and leadership engagements, Tally Solutions and DPIIT aim to strengthen collaboration across India’s startup ecosystem while encouraging innovation that can drive long-term business growth and economic impact.
