The South Asian Association for Gastronomy brings the 6th Edition of The Food for Thought Fest,!

17th and 18th December, 2022 at GMR Square, Aerocity , New Delhi

The sixth edition of the Food for Thought Fest comes back to the capital this December, celebrating the diverse culinary heritage of the South Asian region. The festival comes to Delhi on the 17th and 18th of December, 2022, and will be held at GMR Square, Aerocity, New Delhi. Since inception, the festival, has set the benchmark as a unique forum for conversations, cuisines, and an exchange of ideas. This season, the event is packed with infotainment featuring some of the biggest celebrities and experts, discoveries of cuisine and beverages, hidden gems with a fashion fest and experiences for the entire family. The Food for Thought Fest (FFTF) is the only event in South Asia to be covered by the internationally acclaimed Associated Press two years in a row. Conceptualized as a special one-of-a-kind initiative that focuses on the common heritage and history of the region, as well as the unique influences that make up a part of it, it will have participation from countries like, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal.

The 2022 edition of the Food for Thought Fest brings in the exciting components that make this a truly unique event. There will be talks and discussions around culture and cuisine in the “Thought Fest”, while the “Food Fest” will be offering cookery workshops with master chefs of the region. Two of the biggest stars this year are the globally recognized Chef Asma Khan from London and Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi from India. This year too the theme of the Food Court is “A Taste of Luxury” with luxury hotels in Delhi NCR showcasing their top 7 dishes, at curated stalls; that will be served in tasting portions and priced between INR 150 to 450 only. The “Fest Bazaar” will continue to offer many exciting products for the avid shopper. “Tipple Fest” will be held at the Amazon Forest Area and will offer the visitor a chance to enjoy cocktails and drinks curated by some of the leading international beverage brands in India at very affordable prices. There will be Master Classes by the Brand Ambassadors of the participating beverage companies at the dedicated stage interspersed with quick cocktail making sessions and live bands later in the evening.

The event will appeal to the mind and palate of visitors, from the eager food lovers, bloggers, students of hotel management, to professionals from the hotel and restaurant industry. The Food for Thought Fest 2022, promises to be an enriching celebration of the mind and spirit while strengthening the sense of a joyous community.
