Mumbai, August 12, 2026. The official trailer for “Pratishodh,” a film produced under the banner of Jayant Films & Entertainment with the aim of giving Bhojpuri cinema a new identity, was released today on the Rudra Movies Official YouTube channel.
Producer Jayant Srivastava said on this occasion, “Pratishodh is not just a film; it is a voice against the truth of our society, the pain of relationships, and injustice. In today’s times, Bhojpuri audiences want good stories, clean entertainment, and strong acting. We made Pratisodh with this thought in mind. My dream is that Bhojpuri films will be appreciated across the country and abroad.”
The film stars Gaurav Jha and Ritu Singh in lead roles. They also feature Sanjay Pandey, Amit Shukla, Dev Singh, Saurabh Srivastava, Anu Pandey, Pradeep Vijay, Kajol Shri, Rahul Srivastava, Jayant Srivastava, Shikha Srivastava, Guddan Shivrani, and Ramji Srivastava* in pivotal roles. Child actors Master Siddharth and Master Shivansh have also brought life to the film.
The film is directed by Satyarth Sinha and associate director M Satya Dubey. The story is by Vidya Shukla. Music is by Aman Shlok, with lyrics by Rajesh Mishra, Arvind Tiwari, Vinod Srivastava, Shekhar Madhu, Pradeep Dubey, and Deepika Jha. The songs are sung by Indu Sonali, Vijay Chauhan, Somi Shailesh, Khushboo Jain, Mohammed Mushtaq, Mamta Rawat, and Kanhaiya Singh. The film’s choreography is by Shivarth Srivastava, action by Pradeep Khadka, DOP by Om Mishra, and costume design by Anjali Srivastava.
Producer Jayant Srivastava further said, “Our entire team has put in a lot of hard work to make this film. I am hopeful that the audience will embrace ‘Pratishodh’ wholeheartedly and make it a superhit.”
The film will be released in theaters soon.
