2 hours of hair and make up … got to work with @tanujadabirmakeup and @ashisbogi for #masoomdilhaimera! Then the heavy, oh so heavy Anarkali by @rimpleandharpreet!
#lajjoheeramandi

The cute doggies on set were the best stress busters… you see here, me cuddling with the best baby puppers in a break,
and our set favourite Bagheera taking a lap ride with Ashis! Some mirror practice of the bhaav, walking to our beautiful set, gearing up for the challenge!!!
And afterwards…
The tears are real… so you see Tanuja removing the remains of running mascara from under my eyes… tell me what did you think of that last shot of Lajjo dancing”.

Richa reveals that the tears she shed in the song were real and came from her emoting the very emotionally heavy and crucial song in the show. Allegedly the Anarkali suit that Richa wore in the song is nearly 40 kgs. The song is a crucial point in the show, which has earned Richa immense love and praise for her character, Lajjo. Idk how you did it, but I’m in absolute awe of you”, another one said “Your portrayal as Lajjo is beautiful and something that we can’t describe in words.
The last dance of yours makes us all cry”.

Richa’s character as Lajjo is being lauded as her career bet performance not just by the audiences but by the critics too.
