🎶 Bangalore Teen Creates Free Music-Mixing Tool for Aspiring Artists Across India

Grade 12 student Tavanesh Yatishh is making waves with a new beat-making platform anyone can use

Bangalore,New Delhi , India — In a time where music is everywhere but access to music creation still feels out of reach, one teenager is quietly changing the game.

Meet Tavanesh Yatishh, a Grade 12 student from Bangalore who’s built something few would expect at his age — a free, easy-to-use digital tool that lets anyone create beats, mix tracks, and even record karaoke. It’s called Tavanesh’s Beat Maker, and it’s already catching the attention of musicians and educators alike.

The idea was simple but powerful: give young people — especially those who can’t afford expensive studios or music software — a space to explore their creativity.

“I’ve always been obsessed with how artists like Travis Scott layer their sound,” says Tavanesh. “But not everyone gets the chance to play around with music like that. I wanted to build something that lets anyone try.”

What started as a passion project soon became something much bigger. Built on a basic framework but completely reimagined by Tavanesh, the tool lets users play with different sounds, combine them, build original beats, and even record vocals — all from their browser, no downloads, no cost.

And it doesn’t stop there. Tavanesh recently presented his idea on an international stage — sharing his project with mentors and entrepreneurs at a global innovation summit in Cambridge, UK. His presentation earned praise for both its technical creativity and its social purpose: making music more accessible in a country bursting with talent but often limited by tools.

With music and tech continuing to merge, Tavanesh’s creation is a reminder that innovation doesn’t always need a big budget — just a big idea and the will to build it.
