Chief Minister assures full support to Sikkim’s former MPs and Legislators

New Delhi, September 5: In a unique initiative, Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang met and interacted with former Members of Parliament (MPs), former Legislators of Sikkim Legislative Assembly (SLA) and their family members today in a programme held at a local hotel.

The interaction programme was organized by the Former Legislators Federation of Sikkim (FLFS).

During the meeting, the Chief Minister enquired about their well-being, listened to their concerns and grievances, and assured them of the government’s full support. Additionally, ideas were exchanged, experiences were shared, and valuable suggestions for effective governance were presented to the Chief Minister.

Chief Minister Mr Tamang also highlighted various welfare initiatives of the state government that they will continue to benefit from. He stated that the government will work collectively for the development of the state and expressed his gratitude to them for their valuable suggestions.

The former MPs, legislators and their family members  appreciated the initiative and offered their support for the state’s development.
