Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 officially opens for the public with an impressive surge of enthusiastic visitors across venues

Mumbai / New Delhi, Sunday, 19th January 2025: Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 witnessed a massive turnout of enthusiastic attendees at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, who were excited to explore the latest technological innovations and cutting-edge mobility solutions, along with the products launched and showcased by various brands at their respective pavilions.

Bharat Battery Show with around 88 exhibitors has been opened today with 10 plus product launches and 4 senior officials from Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Ministry of Heavy Industries, Ministry of Science and Technology and Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The leading companies like Amara Raja showcased their upcoming giga corridor for lithium-ion batteries and cell manufacturing at the show.

On the third day, SIAM successfully organized the first Summit for Automotive Future Advancement in Road Safety (SAFAR) at Bharat Mandapam, to drive discussions on innovative solutions for road safety. The event, themed “United Efforts for Road Safety: Safer Roads, Our Responsibility”, aimed to foster collaborative approaches to improving road safety in India through impactful discussions, interactive activities, and innovative initiatives.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Ltd. reinforced its commitment to road safety through its ‘Value Life, Ride Safe’ initiative. Visitors from all age groups were able to engage in interactive road safety games, experience real-life scenarios through simulator riding trainers, and participate in slow riding activities to enhance their skills. To add to the experience, a dedicated selfie zone allowed visitors to also capture their moments of commitment to road safety.

Furthermore, Maruti Suzuki India set up a driving simulator under their Road Safety VR Zone, to educate people on safe driving practices. This was a part of CSR initiative of Maruti Suzuki India Limited with a focus on Road Safety.

BMW India Pvt. Ltd.’s outdoor pavilion at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 garnered significant attention, drawing a large crowd with its thrilling drift performance. A dedicated professional driver showcased remarkable skill, executing donuts around a specially designed small circuit. Each session featured a fresh set of drift tyres and a new car out of 3, ensuring an exhilarating display of performance.

Additionally, Mercedes Benz India unveiled the future of luxury and performance with the Concept CLA-Class at their Arena of Desire today.

Covering other prominent pavilions at tyre expo, Ceat showcased offroad and all terrain tyres for premium SUVs and passenger vehicles among others. They also displayed their crossraid series of 2 wheelers and Ceat Tracks for mining and agricultural automobiles.

Taking a leap forward in tyre technology, Michelin featured their new age tyres which can be modified via in-built 3D printing technology to suit different terrain requirements. Behind the tyre, the brand showcased a video clip showing how users will be able to select different tread options for various terrains such as snow, hills, sand, and much more. Moreover, the brand also put on show their concept for airless radial tyre which can be used on heavy vehicles.

At ‘The Components Show’ at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, exhibitors showcased over 6 automotive products and solutions. Klüber Lubrication presented its sustainable solutions for modern mobility, while BorgWarner highlighted technologies supporting electrification, including LFP battery systems. ATS ELGI unveiled next-gen automotive solutions such as the Smart Light – Touchless Aligner, Autorobot – CRS, and EV products. TEXSPIN displayed products for commercial vehicles, farm & off-road vehicles, passenger cars, and two- & three-wheelers.

Today, the Bharat Construction Equipment Expo and the Urban Mobility Infrastructure Show, under the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, officially commenced at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida. Shri Sunil Barthwal, Commerce Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, formally inaugurated the event.

Leading companies such as JCB India Ltd, Sany Heavy Industry India Pvt Ltd, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment India Pvt Ltd, Tata Hitachi Construction Machinery Co. Pvt Ltd, Case Construction, ACE, Schwing Stetter among others showcased their latest products. Meanwhile, the Urban Mobility & Infrastructure Show and its Urban Air Mobility Pavillion also saw active participation from key players, including Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd, National Capital Region Transport Corporation Ltd, and Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Ltd, among others.

Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 offers free entry to all its visitors. Entry is available through a non-chargeable registration process and registration can be done via the Bharat Mobility mobile app, DMRC App or the District (by Zomato) app.
