Mumbai, June 25, 2025: EuroKids Preschool, India’s foremost preschool expert, joyfully welcomed over 70,000 young learners across 1,400+ centres nationwide today to mark the beginning of the new academic year with its First Day at Preschool celebration. With vibrant spaces, cheerful greetings, and thoughtfully curated experiences, the occasion created a warm, welcoming environment for children stepping into school for the first time. Rooted in EuroKids’ child-first philosophy, the celebration focused on helping children ease into their preschool journey through play, comfort, and connection. Aligned with EuroKids’ pioneering Heureka Curriculum, based on Harvard’s Project Zero and in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the day emphasized child-led discovery, emotional security, and joyful learning hallmarks of the EuroKids approach.
At EuroKids, the First Day is more than a routine, it is a meaningful milestone that shapes a child’s early experiences with learning and independence. The celebration was designed to build emotional security, spark curiosity, and gently guide children into new routines. From the moment they arrived, children were greeted with balloons, smiles, and a warm welcome from their teachers and pre-school staff. Activities throughout the day focused on developing early confidence, reducing anxiety, and encouraging joyful interaction ensuring that the first step into school was filled with happiness and excitement.
The day was filled with a series of fun, immersive activities created especially for toddlers and pre-primary learners. A colourful Balloon Welcome and Selfie Booth let children mark their first school memory with props like ‘My First Day’ and ‘Welcome Back to School’. The magical story corner became a calming space where teachers read ‘first day’ themed books, introducing classroom routines through storytelling. Children also created handprint art and added their handprints to the Welcome Tree, symbolising a warm and personal start to their learning journey. They participated in music and movement games, and explored play zones, making the day vibrant, interactive, and emotionally enriching.
