OTT fans can watch some exciting stuff across multiple platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, SonyLIV, Netflix, Zee5 and JioHotstar

OTT releases this week (12 Jan – 18 Jan) have plenty of options for everyone’s needs. There are comedy, crime stories, war dramas and various other genres covered. Let us take a look at OTT releases this week from January 12 to January 18, 2026.

120 Bahadur (Amazon Prime Video) – This movie is based around a war story and was released in November 2025. 120 Bahadur received appreciation for its emotional storyline and good performances by all actors. The movie highlights various aspects of war such as sacrifice, courage and even negative fallouts such as psychological issues. Till now, 120 Bahadur was available as a paid rental. From January 16, Amazon Prime Video subscribers will be able to access it for free.

Kalamkaval (SonyLIV) – Released in December 2025, Kalamkaval is a crime thriller based on a real-life case, widely reported as the Cyanide Mohan case. The setting is the early 2000s, where detectives uncover a perplexing series of crimes based on a small clue. Lead actors include Vinayakan, who is a special branch officer, whereas Mammootty plays the role of an investigator. Kalamkaval will be available to subscribers on SonyLIV from January 16, 2026.

Taskaree: The Smuggler’s Web (Netflix) – This is a crime series, which will be concluded in seven episodes. The main character of the story is Emraan Hashmi, who plays the role of a customs officer at the Mumbai International Airport. The fight is against an international drug network that has operations in various countries across the globe. Taskaree offers a fresh take on fighting crime, with focus on real-world tactics and challenges. It will be available to subscribers from January 14, 2026.

The Rip (Netflix) – This is an action thriller, featuring popular actors Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. The film is based on emotions such as greed and betrayal. The story starts with millions of unaccounted cash being discovered in a raid. Greed sets in and everyone wants their share. This in turn results in a story of suspicion and betrayal. The movie will be available on Netflix from January 16.

Mastiii 4 (ZEE5) – This is the fourth installment of the Mastiii movie series. It has popular actors such as Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani. In its fourth installment, the movie is based largely in the UK. Just like earlier versions, Mastiii 4 focuses on funny situations and double-meaning dialogues. Zee5 subscribers can access the movie from January 16.

Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials (Netflix) – This is based on an adapted version by Chris Chibnall of the original Agatha Christie’s 1929 novel that had the same name. This television series stars Mia McKenna-Bruce, Helena Bonham Carter and Martin Freeman. The story is built around an event in the late 1920s when a prank turns deadly. The murder mystery is then solved by a spirited young aristocrat. This whodunit mystery will start airing on Netflix from January 15.
