Who is Jaskirat Singh Rangi?

In Part II of Dhurandhar, the movie is likely to provide details on Jaskirat Singh Rangi’s past life. Based on teasers, it appears that Jaskirat Singh Rangi had to face a lot of traumatic events in his young life. When he gets to know the real people responsible for the hurt in his life, he makes it his life’s mission to take revenge.

In his youth, Jaskirat Singh Rangi likely committed multiple murders. This was probably when members of his family were killed. While spending time on death row, Jaskirat was noticed by Indian intelligence agencies. Subsequently, he was selected by IB (Intelligence Bureau) Chief Ajay Sanyal (played by R. Madhavan) for “Operation Dhurandhar.” Already on death row, Jaskirat decides to take up the risky job of entering pakistan and take revenge on the people that harmed his family members.

However, a connection is difficult to establish since Jaskirat in Uri was killed in an ambush, whereas Jaskirat in Dhurandhar is shown as a criminal-turned-spy.
