ARAI certifies Cooper Corporation’s Diesel Engines for Emission Compliance to CPCB IV+ Regulations

Mumbai, 14th May 2024: Cooper Corporation, a leading engine, engine component and genset manufacturer, based in Satara, Maharashtra proudly announces the certification of its 3.5 to 250 kVA Diesel Engines by the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI). These engines have been granted Type approval for compliance to CPCB IV+ emission norms, in accordance with the regulations set forth by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) under Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Government of India.

Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) is autonomous body affiliated to the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India and is one of the prime Testing and Certification Agency notified by Government of India under Rule 126 of Central Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989. ARAI’s certification affirms that Cooper Corporation’s single, 2, 4- and 6-cylinder Diesel Engines, with a power range of 6 kW to 228 kW Gross Mechanical Power, meet the stringent emission standards mandated by the Indian regulatory authorities. This achievement underscores Cooper Corporation’s commitment to environmental sustainability and reinforces its position as a responsible player in the industry.
