- Adani Foundation’s free coaching initiative helps rural student Deepesh Sahu clear JNV entrance.
- Deepesh, from a low-income farming family, earns admission into prestigious residential school.
- The success story reflects the impact of focused support in bridging rural education gaps.
Chhattisgarh, 4 August 2025: ACC, the cement and building material company of the diversified Adani Portfolio, along with the Adani Foundation, is empowering children in underserved areas like Lohars village in Chilhati through access to quality education. By supporting free coaching initiatives, ACC is helping students from low-income families prepare for competitive school entrance exams and unlock new opportunities.
One such student is Deepesh Sahu, the son of a marginal farmer and daily wage earner with an annual income of just ₹60,000. With the academic guidance and mentoring provided by the ACC-supported coaching program, Deepesh cleared the 2025 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) entrance exam and secured admission into one of India’s top residential schools—an achievement that once seemed out of reach.
Deepesh’s journey reflects how timely support, and structured intervention can transform potential into success. Through such initiatives, ACC is not just building infrastructure, but building futures—one student, one village at a time.
