Amara Raja Batteries wins Gold at CII EHS awards

Company is recognized as sectoral topper in the auto components space

The recognition is testament to ARBL’s commitment to the most stringent EHS practices

Tirupati March 31, 2022: Amara Raja Batteries Ltd (ARBL), a part of the Amara Raja Group, has been awarded top honors at the Confederation of Indian Industries’ CII-SR EHS Excellence Awards in recognition of the company’s adherence to the most stringent environment, health and safety practices.

ARBL won the highest level of Gold award, and was the sectoral topper in the auto components vertical. It is among the 20 companies to have been bestowed with this honour from a total of 194 participants.

C Narasimhulu Naidu, Chief Operations Officer, ARBL said, “I am incredibly proud of the success our teams have achieved on such a prestigious stage. The awards were instituted to acknowledge the contribution of companies towards conserving critical environmental resource, handling occupational health and hygiene issues, promoting best practices in safety and facilitating innovative and efficient management practices in the EHS space.
