‘An art you make into a lifestyle’ KBJ Group’s Aksha Kamboj shares thoughts on work-life balance

Being a leading lady of a huge multi-industry business and running a home is no easy task. Yet, KBJ Group’s Aksha Kamboj seems to have mastered this challenge with a seeming smoothness. Currently, she is an executive director of KBJ Group, a company founded by her husband Mohit Kamboj aka Mohit Bharatiya. She is also the endearing mother of her two young kids- Mishka Kamboj and Avyaan Kamboj.

KBJ Group is a Mumbai-based, private conglomerate that has multiple ventures in the bullion, jewellery, hospitality, agriculture, real estate, and trading sectors. Ever since it was founded by Mohit Kamboj aka Mohit Bharatiya, the company has been expanding and diversifying. Having a core position in KBJ Group and overlooking its functioning is a demanding task. And so is the responsibility of raising two children holistically, especially in the present uncertain times.

Aksha Kamboj recently talked about work-life balance. She shared how she plans and warrants that quality family time and her professional commitments complement each other. “Maintaining a balance between your work and your family is an art you turn into a lifestyle,” she remarks. She places equal importance on personal and work-related commitments. Aksha Kamboj always makes certain that her work doesn’t deprive her of spending time with Mishka Kamboj and Avyaan Kamboj or from doing things she’s passionate about.

“Division of responsibilities, time management, discipline to work, and having flexible plans all play an important part in maintaining a good work-life balance,” Aksha Kamboj further adds. She also extends this same freedom and wisdom to KBJ Group’s employees and ensures that its team has the freedom and availability to invest in their personal life and interests.
