Brihaspathi Technologies made the Bihar Assembly Elections a highly transparent exercise

The state-wide webcasting network ensured the electoral process remains largely translucent

Hyderabad / Patna, Monday, December 1st, 2025: Brihaspathi Technologies Ltd has reinforced its leadership in digital surveillance and election technology by executing one of India’s largest and most complex webcasting operations during the Bihar Elections. With a strong commitment to transparency and operational precision, the company deployed a comprehensive surveillance ecosystem supported by a multi-tier command structure that enabled seamless monitoring across thousands of polling stations.

To support the Election Commission of India (ECI) in conducting free and fair elections, Brihaspathi Technologies installed nearly 35,500 CCTV cameras across ten districts, i.e., Munger, Lakhisarai, Sheikhpura, Nalanda, Banka, Bhagalpur, Jamui, Jehanabad, Katihar, and Nawada. A total of 34,634 cameras were active on polling day, covering polling stations, counting centers, and other critical locations. This extensive network ensured uninterrupted visibility and transparency throughout every stage of the elections.

The deployment featured both inside and outside cameras at polling stations to ensure comprehensive oversight. Outside cameras monitored voter queues, entry points, law-and-order situations, and compliance with ECI’s no-campaigning regulations. Inside cameras, installed without compromising voter secrecy, provided real-time visibility into polling staff activity, mock polls, and the entry of authorized personnel. Together, they created a robust visual audit trail that helped prevent malpractices and ensured adherence to electoral procedures.
