Gangtok, August 6: Chief Minister of Sikkim Prem Singh Tamang attended the inaugural day of the Budget Session 2024-25 on Monday and presented the budget for the upcoming financial year to the House for its consideration.
“I extend my profound gratitude to the Hon’ble Governor, Shri Om Prakash Mathur, for his insightful inaugural address, which set a decisive tone for the session.
Emphasizing the significant achievements, progressive schemes, and developmental goals of our government, I urged all members to commit to advancing sustainable development policies, ensuring the prosperity and well-being of the people of Sikkim.
In my capacity as the Minister-in-charge of the Finance Department, I presented the Explanatory Memorandum of the Government of Sikkim, the Annual Financial Statement, the Estimates of Receipts, and the Demands for Grants for the Financial Year 2024-25,” the CM said.
