If a ticket remains unconfirmed at the time of chart preparation, the passenger is eligible for up to 3x fare refund, enabling them to book last-minute alternatives such as flights or buses. This feature ensures a smoother travel experience, even in uncertain situations.

High train travel demand often results in long waitlists during peak travel seasons, leaving travelers with expensive last-minute options when tickets remain unconfirmed. ‘Travel Guarantee’ helps mitigate this by offering a refund of up to three times the ticket fare, allowing users to seamlessly rebook their journey while minimizing the impact of sudden fare hikes. The higher compensation provides greater flexibility, ensuring smoother last-minute travel arrangements.

Here is how it works:

1. Passengers can opt for the ‘Travel Guarantee’ feature at a nominal charge for select trains and classes booked via ConfirmTkt.

1. If the ticket remains waitlisted at the time of chart preparation:

○        1X of the ticket fare will be credited to the original payment mode.

○        The remaining amount is issued as a ‘Travel Guarantee Coupon’ based on your selected travel mode:-

–          Flight/Bus: 1X refund to original mode + 2X as a Travel Guarantee Coupon

–          Train: 1X refund to original mode + 1X as a Travel Guarantee Coupon
