Denta Water & Infra Solutions Completes Major CSR Initiative to Transform Rural Education

Bengaluru, 24th June 2025:  Denta Water & Infra Solutions, a Bengaluru-based small-cap infrastructure firm, has successfully completed a significant CSR project to upgrade the high school section of the Government Pre-University College in Santebachahalli, Mandya District. Spanning over three years (2023–2026), this initiative aims to enhance infrastructure and learning environments in underserved rural areas.
The 70-year-old school, serving nearly 10,000 residents and housing 135–192 students, faced deteriorated classrooms and inadequate sanitation facilities. As part of its ongoing efforts, Denta Water constructed four new classrooms totaling 383.50 sq. mt., recast the roofs of three structurally compromised classrooms, and renovated four existing classrooms—including flooring, windows, and interiors. The project also upgraded sanitation infrastructure with new restrooms for boys, girls, and staff, along with a borewell and pump system ensuring uninterrupted water supply throughout the year.
Looking ahead to 2025–26, the company plans to install weather-proof metal roofs over eleven original classrooms built in 1953, preventing leakage and damage, and undertake full refurbishments to give these classrooms a new lease of life.
This project exemplifies how targeted, sustained CSR efforts can transform public infrastructure in rural communities. It aligns with India’s NEP 2020, emphasizing equity, infrastructure, and access in education.
Following the inauguration of the new school building, Minister of Agriculture of Karnataka N. Chaluvaraya Swamy stating, “The construction of this rural high school through CSR funding represents a commendable step toward empowering rural education. We deeply appreciate the contribution of Denta Water, whose support under CSR initiatives continues to drive positive change. In today’s increasingly competitive environment, it is imperative for students to invest effort in expanding their knowledge. Teachers, in turn, play a pivotal role in guiding and equipping them for academic excellence. I am confident that with collective dedication, we will witness improved outcomes in the upcoming SSLC and PUC
Mruthyunjaya Swamy, Chairman, Denta Water, stated, “At Denta Water, we are committed to driving sustainable change in rural Karnataka through innovative CSR initiatives. By recharging groundwater using treated sewage water from Bengaluru, we are restoring vital tanks and lakes in Kolar and Chikkaballapur. Our safe drinking water and recharge programs across Koppal, Gangavathi, Yelburga, and Kukkanuru aim to uplift communities and ensure long-term water security”
By combining infrastructure development with a focus on sustainability, Denta Water & Infra Solutions demonstrates how small-cap enterprises can lead meaningful, lasting change in India’s rural education landscape.
