The Gujarati mega-star Deeksha Joshi’s biggie Jayeshbhai Jordar in which she plays Ranveer’s sister is a strong yet humourous entertainer set in Gujarat.
The three times best actress winner in the Gujarati industry has won hearts with her jordaar performance as Preeti in Jayeshbhai Jordar.
Joshi’s acting is critically acclaimed, however, her “goss quo” is clearly nil and she admits it herself,
“Tereko goss merese nahi mill paegi yaar,” Deeksha Joshi innocently chirps about not knowing any gossip about Bollywood and adds that she is clueless since she was in Ahmedabad, when asked about co-star Ranveer Singh as much as other Bollywood trivia.
Ask her about rumours she has heard about herself, and she opens up courageously, “I have been asked if I was a bisexual,” she goes on to not only feel strongly for the LGBTQ community, but also adds that she was misjudged and she is generally a friendly, “squishy” person.
We all have favourites, but sometimes choosing just one can be hard. “Pratik(Gandhi) is my real family, Ranveer(Singh) is my reel family and Malhar(Thakkar) is the funnest friend,” Joshi can’t choose who she considers her favourite co-star.
