Bengaluru, June 23, 2025 – Galaxy Health Insurance, India’s youngest health insurer backed by the families of TVS Group and insurance veteran V. Jagannathan, has launched its flagship offering – Galaxy Marvel, designed to meet the evolving needs of today’s health-conscious society.
This innovative product encourages wellness by offering health-linked incentives and digital wallet credits to policyholders who maintain good health, while providing robust and comprehensive coverage that aligns with the expectations of today’s discerning Indian consumer. Galaxy Marvel follows the success of the insurer’s first flagship product, Galaxy Promise, launched in October 2024.
Over the past year, the company has expanded its physical presence across South India, insured over 6953+ lives in Karnataka, and built a strong network of 1621+ agents in the state.
The company has partnered with Policybazaar, India’s largest insurance distributor, to make Galaxy Marvel available to its present and potential customer base, pan-India.
Commenting on the launch, G. Srinivasan, MD & CEO, Galaxy Health Insurance, said, “At the heart of any health insurance offering is the aim to ensure people are insured, financially protected, and encouraged to stay healthy. We started Galaxy Health Insurance with a commitment to designing customer-centric, affordable, and accessible products and building a long-term relationship with them. Understanding the pulse of India, we have introduced Galaxy Marvel – a plan that incentivises wellness by rewarding policyholders for maintaining good health. Policybazaar has been a trusted and forward-thinking partner, consistently driving innovation and customer value in the digital insurance landscape. We are pleased to partner with Policybazaar in making this innovative product accessible to customers across India, thereby supporting deeper health insurance penetration.”
Sarbvir Singh, Joint Group CEO – PB Fintech , added, “Preventive healthcare has to be the next big leap in insurance. Products like Galaxy Marvel are important because they shift the focus from illness to wellness. By linking incentives like wallet credits and premium discounts to healthy behaviour, they not only empower consumers to take charge of their health but also help ease long-term pressure on the healthcare system. It’s a smart, timely approach, and exactly the kind of innovation the industry needs more of.”
