Introduced advanced manufacturing technologies & production lines amid surging EV export demand with an investment of INR 40 Cr over next 3 years
Bengaluru, 12th June 2025: The Motor Solutions business of Godrej Enterprises Group, is targeting a revenue of INR 1000 crore by FY28, with 20% of total revenue coming from exports. The business is targeting ₹750 crore in FY26, driven by expanding demand across electric vehicles (EV’s), HVAC applications, pump applications, and actuator segments in domestic and international markets.

The business has enhanced its manufacturing capabilities for EV motor components, including commissioning of a new assembly line to support growth in both Indian and export markets such as the US and Europe. A high-precision lamination punching line from AIDA Japan is also being put up to meet the increasing need for ultra-thin laminations in EV, aerospace, and automation sectors. The business holds a dominant 60% market share in hermetic motors for refrigeration and air-conditioning applications in the domestic Indian market.
Recent product innovations include the development of complete assembled motors for the off-road EV market serving US customers, with plans also to manufacture motors for a renowned German group with compatible controller offerings. The business is also investing into cutting-edge motor technologies such as Switched Reluctance and Synchronous Reluctance Motors, with an aim to reduce reliance on rare earth magnets over the years whilst improving efficiency.
The facility is capable to generate an annual production capacity of over 6 million motors and offers over 300+ customized SKUs to serve diverse industrial applications. Sustainability remains a core focus, with the plant certified with IGBC Platinum, and GreenCo Platinum Plus and zero waste to landfill. The facilities are water positive and recycles 80% of its finished goods packaging.
