Gujarat’s First Nurse-Led Clinic Inaugurated at Apollo Hospitals

Ahmedabad, July 23: Gujarat’s first Nurse-led clinic was inaugurated at Apollo Hospitals, Ahmedabad on Wednesday. The facility was inaugurated by Cdr Jelson Kavalakkat, CEO, Apollo Hospitals, Ahmedabad.

The Nurse-Led Clinic initiative was launched under the visionary leadership of Capt (Dr.) Usha Banerjee, Group Director Nursing, Apollo Hospitals.

At the facility, trained nurses will support patients through education, counseling, post-discharge care demonstrations, and regular follow-ups. The nurses will support doctors as key partners, helping to achieve better treatment results and overall patient care.

The facility will be operated by registered and advanced nurse practitioners with a focus on preventive care and chronic disease management.
