Ultra Media, in association with NFDC–NFAI are re-releasing two of his most celebrated works Pyaasa (1957) & Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam (1962), again in Indian theatres from 22nd August
As part of the centenary celebrations of Guru Dutt, a nationwide theatrical retrospective of his most iconic masterpieces like Pyaasa, Sahib Biwi aur Ghulam, Aar Paar, Chaudhvin Ka Chand, Mr. & Mrs. 55, & Baaz were released in theatres in India on 8th August
Both films struck a deep chord with audiences, from film lovers and critics to today’s Gen Z viewers. The screenings saw packed halls everywhere. Now, due to this love and demand, moviegoers get another chance to enjoy these classics in their beautifully restored 4K versions on the big screen.
