Himachal Pradesh Government Partners with Crack Academy to Transform Educational Opportunities for Students and Job Seekers

Himachal Pradesh; 3rd March, 2025: In a landmark collaboration aimed at expanding access to quality education, the Himachal Pradesh Government has joined hands with Crack Academy to launch a statewide competitive examination for students and job seekers. The state’s CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu launched the “Mere Shehar ke 100 Ratan” programme with an aim to provide free coaching for various competitive exams to 6,800 students across Himachal Pradesh.

Under this initiative, Crack Academy will offer free coaching to 100 meritorious students from each assembly constituency, with an estimated investment of Rs. 34 Crore. While the next 200 students will be given a 75% concession, and the following 500 students will receive a 50% concession. This collaboration is a larger-than-life opportunity that aims to drive social change through education across the state.

Set to take place in mid-April 2025, this initiative will provide thousands of students with an opportunity to participate on a bigger platform, allowing them to evaluate their strengths, gain personalized career guidance, and unlock pathways to success in competitive exams. This initiative represents an inclusive movement toward equal access to education, breaking geographical and financial barriers that often restrict students from rural and remote areas from competing at a national level. With a limited number of seats available, Crack Academy encourages early registration and ensures that students do not miss out on this transformative opportunity to shape their academic and professional futures.

Through this partnership, students will benefit from personalized training and expert mentorship provided by leading educators, helping them refine their skills and excel in competitive exams. Additionally, students will receive exclusive study materials and resources, carefully curated to enhance their exam preparation. To further support their academic journey, Crack Academy plans to establish over 90 coaching centres, directly employing 5,000 people, while creating additional indirect employment opportunities. In addition, the academy will also invest Rs. 1.5 Crore in renovating and maintaining the library at Ridge, Shimla.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu highlighted the broader impact of this initiative, stating, “This initiative will not only benefit talented students but also generate employment opportunities in the State. CRACK Academy plans to establish over 90 coaching centers, directly employing 5,000 people while creating additional indirect employment.”
