New Delhi, November 7 2025 – The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) Executive Education alumni came together for an unforgettable evening at the Inaugural Delhi-NCR Alumni Meet, held at Lemon Tree Premier, Aerocity. The gathering united accomplished professionals from healthcare, finance, technology and academia, rekindling the legendary Joka spirit of collaboration and lifelong learning.

“What began as an idea months ago took shape through consistent effort and collaboration,” said Raghuvir Gakhar, noting that alumni from across India turned vision into reality. Over 120 participants, representing more than 25 organisations and 15 industry sectors, attended the meet. The audience reflected leadership diversity — 42 percent hailed from healthcare & life sciences, followed by finance (18 percent) and IT & analytics (15 percent) — while alumni cohorts ranged from 2009 to 2025. “Reconnecting with brilliant minds reignited our collective IIMC legacy,” reflected Anuj Khanduja. “This reunion was a celebration of shared journeys and new aspirations,” remarked CA Harshit Mahawar.

Several flew in from Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru, demonstrating the enthusiasm surrounding this landmark reunion and the enduring reach of IIM Calcutta’s executive-education legacy. “The Delhi-NCR meet felt like coming home,” shared Mohit Vohra.

Professor Rajesh Babu Ravindran, Dean – Executive Education, IIM Calcutta, joined as Guest of Honour. “It was heart-warming to see our Executive Education alumni reconnect with such enthusiasm and purpose. The Delhi NCR meet reflected the unique spirit of IIM Calcutta, where friendships endure, ideas grow and leadership continues to be shaped through shared learning and community,” he remarked.

Adding to the evening’s depth, Dr Swarupa Mitra led a dialogue on healthcare transformation, highlighting empathy-driven innovation and collaborative leadership to humanise technology. Generous support came from Payal Nambiar (Nambiar Group), Sunaina Gera (Yugen Infra) and Ashwany Bansal (Shashvi Remedies – Mamosure). The night was filled with laughter and melody as Sarbajit Bhattacharjee’s wit and CA Vishal Kumar’s ghazals delighted the audience. “The energy in the room was electric,” added Meenu Suri.
Shaweta Berry concluded, “From CXOs to entrepreneurs, every conversation reflected one truth, the Joka spirit continues to evolve, uniting leaders who learn, adapt, and create impact together.”

The evening closed with renewed commitment toward mentorship, collaboration and continued engagement — as the next IIM Calcutta Alumni Meet is set for Goa 2026.
