Indian Bank Sanctions ₹1,400 Crore in Loans at MSME & Retail Outreach Camp in Mumbai

Mumbai, August 13, 2025: In view of the thrust on MSME financing by Govt. of India, Indian bank is also putting thrust on financing MSMEs. In this series, Indian Bank organized MSME & RETAIL Customer Outreach Camp at Mumbai. The event was chaired by Shri Binod Kumar, MD & CEO of the Bank. During the camp, around 200 loans amounting to Rs.1400.00 Crore were sanctioned, and sanction letters were distributed to MSME & RETAIL customers of the span.

While addressing the customers, Shri Binod Kumar briefed them on various products and schemes offered by the Bank in the MSME & RETAIL sectors. Additionally, audio-visual presentations were made to familiarize customers with the Bank’s MSME, RETAIL, and Digital Products. Shri Deepak Gupta, Field General Manager Mumbai, was also present at the function.

The MD & CEO also stated that Indian Bank has launched several initiatives, including the Ind Smart Biz App, IND Trade NeXT for Forex, hassle-free loans under Ind GST up to ₹ 1 crore, online review and renewal of MSME accounts, to name a few.

The bank has launched a special MSME Rise Campaign under which special benefits, such as lower ROI and various concessions, are also being extended.
