Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering and Technology (ALIET) successfully kicked off its highly anticipated Innovation 2k25 event from April 4th to 7th, 2025, with a grand focus on technological innovations from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). The first day of the event saw a remarkable showcase of 96 student-led projects cantered around cutting-edge technologies such as Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Internet of Things (IoT), Web Development, and much more. These projects displayed the ingenuity and technical prowess of the students, offering creative solutions to real-world challenges through the power of modern computing.
The event commenced with an inspiring word by Dr. Kanya Kumari, Head of the Department of CSE, who provided a comprehensive overview of the Project Expo, emphasizing its role in fostering innovation. Rev. Fr. Dr. Joji Reddy, S.J Secretary and Director of ALIET, delivered the inaugural address to the gathering, commending the students for their dedication, enthusiasm, and remarkable zeal for creativity. His words of encouragement resonated deeply with the students, reinforcing the significance of innovation in their academic and professional journey.
The projects were thoroughly evaluated by an esteemed panel of judges, including Dr. Paneer Selvam Ramesh, Associate Professor in CSE, Dr. Shrisaila, Associate Professor in the Department of Information Technology from Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education, and Mr. E. Nagaraju, Assistant Professor in CSE at SRK Institute of Technology. The judges were highly impressed by the originality and technical depth demonstrated in each project, acknowledging the students’ hard work and innovative approaches.
Both Rev. Fr. Dr. Joji Reddy and Rev. Fr. Balaswamy visited the project displays, engaging with the students and offering their continued support. They lauded the students for their inventive ideas and encouraged them to continue exploring their creative potential, Mahesh, Principal of ALIET assured his encouragement and support.
The event was meticulously coordinated by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of ALIET, under Dr. Sr. Candy D’Cunha, IQAC Coordinator, with valuable assistance from Mrs. Lalitha Madhavi (MBA), Mrs. Nancy Anurag (CSE), and Mrs. E. Kalavathi (S&H). Their efforts ensured the smooth execution of the event, which provided a platform for students to showcase their technical expertise and engagement with the faculty Innovation 2025 at ALIET not only provided students with an opportunity to exhibit their technical skills but also promoted an environment of interdisciplinary collaboration and creative problem-solving. The event exemplified ALIET’s commitment to nurturing future-ready professionals capable of making a significant impact in the field of technology.
