New Delhi, 9th December 2025: India’s first Global Multicast News Hub, Live Times, presented an exclusive episode of its prime-time programme Point Blank, featuring senior VHP leader Shri Alok Kumar in a wide-ranging, unscripted conversation with Deepak Chaurasia, Director News, Live Times. The discussion explored the significance of December 6 for many Hindus, the Ram Mandir movement, ongoing debates around Mathura and Kashi, and national concerns linked to demographic balance, illegal infiltration, and religious conversions.
Speaking on December 6, Shri Alok Kumar referred to it as a moment of renewed cultural confidence for a large section of Hindus and connected it to what he called a “historic correction” culminating in the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. He described the temple as the completion of a long-standing civilisational chapter and a shift in national consciousness.
Addressing Mathura and Kashi, Shri Kumar pointed to what he believes is substantial historical and factual material supporting temple claims, while emphasising that any progress would move only through constitutional, legal, and judicial routes.
On the Places of Worship Act, he called for an open, nationwide conversation, stating that sensitive historical questions cannot be avoided and must be addressed through transparent dialogue involving all communities.
The episode also touched on demographic pressures, illegal infiltration, and religious conversions, which Shri Kumar described as issues requiring structured policy focus. He said several regions are already experiencing the effects and that these concerns should be examined with clarity rather than political framing.
Responding to questions on youth organisations and religious practices, he characterised Bajrang Dal as a “responsible, disciplined Hindu organisation”. He also raised questions around transparency in halal-linked economic processes. On expressions such as “Vande Mataram” and “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” he said these slogans stand for national unity and questioned why they should be considered objectionable.
Throughout the episode, Deepak Chaurasia guided the conversation with Point Blank’s trademark directness, ensuring that each issue was addressed factually and without evasion, reflecting the programme’s commitment to accountability and clarity.
