Medicaps University has recently entered into strategic collaborations with industry leaders Hettich and Intel to bridge the gap between academia and industry and empower students with cutting-edge, practical learning experiences.
Through these MoUs, Medicaps University will establish a Center of Excellence in partnership with Hettich, offering hands-on training in advanced manufacturing, smart furniture technologies, and automation. Tailored for students of Mechanical, Production, and Mechatronics Engineering, the center will offer industry-recognized certifications, internship opportunities, and potential placement pathways with Hettich and its affiliates.
Mr. Andre Eckholt, Managing Director of Hettich India, also visited the University for the MoU ceremony, where he engaged meaningfully with students and faculty, reinforcing Hettich’s commitment to advancing industry-academia collaboration.
In parallel, Intel will set up an Intel Unnati Lab on campus to support a specialized B.Tech program in Computer Science Engineering with a focus on AI and Data Analytics. This initiative will expose students to high-performance computing environments and tools, while Intel experts contribute directly to the curriculum and provide internship opportunities to deserving candidates.
Speaking on the collaborations, Dr. Dilip Patnaik, Vice Chancellor, Medicaps University, said: “At Medicaps University, our commitment is to equip students with the skills and exposure they need to thrive in a fast-evolving job market. These partnerships with Hettich and Intel are a leap forward in aligning our academic programs with real-world industry needs.”
These alliances mark another step in Medicaps University’s ongoing effort to nurture future-ready professionals through experiential learning and robust industry engagement.
