Mohan Babu University Successfully Hosted the 2nd International Conference on Intelligent Electronics and Communication Devices (IECom-2025)

Tirupati, March 2025 – Mohan Babu University (MBU) successfully hosted the 2nd International Conference on Intelligent Electronics and Communication Devices (IECom-2025), a prestigious global forum focused on advancements in electronics and communication technologies. Organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, School of Engineering, in collaboration with AICTE IDEA Lab, the three-day event brought together scientists, researchers, academicians, and industry professionals from across the world to foster knowledge exchange and drive innovation.

With over 200 research papers presented, the conference served as a platform for showcasing cutting-edge developments in nano-electronics, AI-driven communication networks, satellite technology, and IoT solutions. The event featured keynote addresses from globally recognized experts, including Dr. Cristian Ravariu (Romania) on Nano-Electronics and Spintronics, Dr. Santosh Kumar Vishvakarma (IIT Indore) on VLSI and Edge Computing, Dr. K. K. Soundra Pandian (Ministry of Electronics & IT, Govt. of India) on AI’s Role in Modern Communication Networks, and Dr. Talabattula Srinivas (IISc Bangalore) on Advances in Satellite Communication and IoT.

Speaking at the event, MBU Provost Prof. Nagaraj Ramrao and Vice-Chancellor Prof. K. Karunakaran emphasized the university’s commitment to fostering research excellence and industry collaboration. Prof. Karunakaran stated, “IECom served as a catalyst for innovation, shaping the future of intelligent electronics and communication.” The conference aimed to strengthen industry-academia partnerships, facilitating the exchange of ideas that could drive real-world applications.

IECom-2025 provided a platform for global research collaboration, with key highlights that included international participation from multiple countries, research publication opportunities in IEEE Xplore and Scopus-indexed journals, technical demonstrations, and panel discussions. The conference also focused on emerging technologies such as low-power electronics, quantum communication, AI applications, and smart grids. Accepted papers were published under ISBN 978-93-341-8736-6, with select papers forwarded to Scopus/WoS-indexed journals.

With its strong emphasis on pioneering research, knowledge-sharing, and innovation, IECom-2025 reaffirmed Mohan Babu University’s role as a hub for technological advancements, paving the way for future breakthroughs in electronics and communication.
