Munawar Zama Honoured with National Flag by Meghalaya MLA Dr. Mizanur Rahman Kazi at Guwahati Airport

Renowned international motivational speaker Mr. Munawar Zama has been invited to deliver a keynote address on the importance of education, character building, and youth empowerment at a grand Islamic conference scheduled for December 16, 2025, in Meghalaya. The conference, which is expected to witness a large public gathering, will be held at Jamiul Uloom Rahmania Madrassa, Chibinang, under the Phulbari constituency. Mr. Munawar Zama will participate as the Keynote Speaker, while former Member of Parliament from Assam, Maulana Badruddin Ajmal, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Ahead of the main conference, Mr. Zama arrived at Guwahati Airport on December 15, 2025, at around 08:00 am, marking the beginning of his two-day visit to the region. He was accorded a warm and dignified reception by Dr. Mizanur Rahman Kazi ,MLA from the Rajabala constituency of Meghalaya, who honoured him with the National Tricolour. This marked the first time Mr. Zama was welcomed with the National Flag, a gesture that left him deeply moved and appreciative.

A distinguished delegation of eminent personalities was present at the airport to receive him. Those in attendance included Rofiqul Islam Sarker, Principal of Bhaitbari Higher Secondary School; Abdul Kalam Azad, noted social activist; Sohail Kazi, Software Engineer; Hedayatullah Kazi, NGO and social activist; Mostopha Kobir, NGO and social activist, along with several other community leaders and well-wishers.

Although the main conference is scheduled for December 16, on public demand and at the special request of local leadership and youth representatives, Mr. Munawar Zama attended a *Meet and Greet* programme on December 15 at Bhaitbari Higher Secondary School, Rajabala, organized under the leadership of MLA Dr. Mizanur Rahman  Kazi. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from people belonging to various communities, reflecting the speaker’s wide reach and influence.

During the interaction, Mr. Zama emphasized the critical role of education, moral and character development, career planning, and right guidance for youth in nation-building. He highlighted that strong values combined with purposeful education are essential for individual growth and social harmony.

In a significant announcement welcomed by the audience, Mr. Munawar Zama assured his return to the region on January 27 next year, when he will deliver three to four motivational sessions for different communities, further underlining his commitment to youth empowerment and educational awareness.

The upcoming conference at Jamiul Uloom Rahmania Madrassa, Chibinang, with the presence of Maulana Badruddin Ajmal as Chief Guest and Munawar Zama as Keynote Speaker, is expected to be a landmark event, inspiring thousands and reinforcing the message of education, unity, and character building.
