Actor Naveen Sandhu, who hails from Karnal (Haryana), opens up about working with Naseeruddin Shah in the short film ‘2100 FT’. Naveen feels fortunate to receive opportunities to share screen space with Naseeruddin Shah in the short film titled ‘2100 FT’.
“Just being able to perform up close with Naseer Sir is a treasure for any actor. I’ve been a huge admirer of Naseer Sir’s work and have enjoyed being his student in my theatre days. Some of my most favorite stage work was with him. I cherish the times spent one-to-one with Naseer Sir in the process of 2100 FT making… especially conversations about art, craft and life that we had at shoot,” Naveen shared.
Talking about his role ‘’, Naveen says, “Playing the character of Pavitra was emotionally overwhelming and yet, I was given the freedom by the director to tune things my own way. It is about the realization of the reality of death when he faces the stark drop of 2100 FT in front of him. With his broken heart he musters all his strength and tries to jump one more time just to be stopped by Gulshan (Naseeruddin Shah)”. Naveen further says, “I believe that men can emote tears and still be men. I take pride in showing vulnerability on screen or on stage.”
The film will be out on November 25, only on FNP Media Official YouTube Channel.
