Masthishka Maranam – This was released in theatres in February 2026 and is currently available on Netflix. The movie is directed by Krishand (RK Krishand) and stars Rajisha Vijayan (as Frida Soman), Niranj Maniyanpilla Raju (as Bimal), with supporting roles by Jagadish, Divya Prabha, Nandhu, Suresh Krishna, and Vishnu Agasthya.

A sci-fi thriller, the movie explores a futuristic world, as it appears in 2046. In this futuristic world, memories are bought and sold, and even manipulated in an illegal manner. The movie is centered around themes such as technology-linked ethical dilemmas, loss of family members and suspenseful twists.

Valathu Vashathe Kallan – Released in theatres in January 2026, Valathu Vashathe Kallan is currently available on ManoramaMAX (also Lionsgate Play in some regions). The movie is directed by Jeethu Joseph and written by Dinu Thomas Eelan. Lead actors include Joju George (as Samuel Joseph), Lena (as Theresa), Leona Lishoy, Shaju Sreedhar, and Vaishnavi Raj.

The movie is about a morally compromised police officer who takes up a case involving the death of an activist’s daughter. Pennum Porattum – This was released in early 2026 and is currently available on Netflix. Pennum Porattum is directed by actor Rajesh Madhavan, making it the actor’s first directorial debut. Lead actors are Raina Radhakrishnan (as Charulatha) and Rajesh Madhavan.

The story develops in a small, peaceful village, where things like societal double standards and hypocrisy and underlying cruelty exist. The protagonist, Charulatha, is blamed by villagers for denying social and moral boundaries. Pennu Case – This was released in theatres in January 2026 and is currently available on Amazon Prime Video. The movie is directed by Febin Sidharth and stars Nikhila Vimal (as Rohini), Aju Varghese, Hakeem Shajahan, and Ramesh Pisharody.

The movie is based on an interesting police case, where a cop has to identify a con woman. The latter has conned a number of men across Kerala and Karnataka by creating false identities. The cop has to find if this is just a case of cheating or is there a larger conspiracy at work. Pennu Case has unpredictable twists, various crime elements, lots of humor and a fast-paced tale of deceit and deception.

Dheeram – Released directly on OTT in March, Dheeram is available to watch on Prime Video / Sun NXT. The movie is directed by Jithin T Suresh and stars Indrajith Sukumaran (as cop Stalin), Aju Varghese and Reba Monica John.

The movie follows the story of a police officer, who is tasked with investigating a murder case that occurred in a nightclub. While initially it looks like a murder case, more evidence collected starts showing the possibility of a serial killer at work. The police officer has to deal with his personal conflicts and moral dilemmas while working to solve the case.
