New Delhi, January 29, 2024- The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), in collaboration with ed-tech platform CoLLearn and Shikhar Dhawan’s DA One Sports, is all set to launch skilling for cricket coaches across India to enhance their capability to mentor players across various levels.
The Cricket Coach Education Programme is a collaborative effort where NSDC will facilitate workshops to raise awareness about the programme and provide skill loans to all the eligible candidates for this initiative. CoLLearn Education Technologies will be responsible for organizing classes and providing placement support to the students, while DA One Sports, which works on creating a grassroots sporting ecosystem, will focus on student assessments and all-round field training.

Participants in the program will gain a thorough understanding of essential cricket techniques, while the curriculum emphasizes practical coaching skills through drills and strategies designed to enhance the performance of the players and foster strong team dynamics. The coaches will also be trained in injury prevention strategies to implement during game sessions to promote player safety and well-being. A significant aspect of the program is the integration of cricket analytics, equipping coaches with the tools and techniques to monitor and improve the performance of the players effectively.
