Angel investors in the round include Kishore Biyani and the founders of Unacademy, Mosaic Wellness, Livspace, Vetic, Magicpin, Spinny, Pristyn Care, and Handpicked.
The Series A follows OZi’s $3.3 million seed round raised in October 2025 led by Blume Ventures, with participation from Huddle Ventures, Zeropearl VC, and Untitled Ventures. That early capital helped the company launch operations in Gurugram, build a strong cross-functional leadership team, and validate its core thesis that convenience for modern parents remains deeply underserved.
Founded in 2025 by Amit Sah, OZi was built around a problem Sah had observed closely within his own family. Parents today have more choices than ever before, but far less time. Completing a single shopping basket often means hopping across multiple apps, with many products still taking days to arrive. Dual-income households are managing careers and children without extended family support. OZi is built to address that friction by offering a curated selection, trusted brands, product demos, reliable delivery, and easy returns, all in one place.
The platform offers over 15,000 products for children in the 0–12 years age group, ranging from fashion, toys, nursing and feeding essentials, baby care, school essentials, pharmacy, everyday consumables, to gifting items and larger baby gear. OZi operates 24×7 and provides delivery within 60 minutes, along with scheduled delivery options that allow parents to receive products at a time that best fits their day. Since launching in Gurugram, OZi has witnessed 12X growth within just five months and has now recently expanded to Noida.
Convenience sits at the core of OZi’s proposition. Along with fast delivery, the platform ensures the availability of hard-to-find products parents actively look for, from travel-size diaper packs and specialty diapers to paediatrician-recommended feeding bottles and grooming products that may not always be stocked on large marketplaces. OZi complements this curated assortment with features such as ‘Try & Buy’ for fit-based products like apparel and a ‘Demo Cart’ for larger baby gear like strollers, enabling parents to compare features and make a decision without visiting multiple stores. The platform also offers gifting services, including gift wrapping.
Amit, a second-time founder, brings deep operational experience to the venture. In his previous startup, Zoplar, a B2B healthcare technology company, he took the unusual step of deciding to return capital to investors after regulatory changes restricted the import of refurbished medical devices, altering the business model. A graduate of BIT Mesra and IIM Bangalore, he was part of the team that launched Ola Auto nationally, led OYO’s international expansion across Mexico, the United States, Brazil, and Canada, and joined Pristyn Care early in its journey as it scaled into a unicorn.
The fresh capital will be used to deepen OZi’s presence across Gurugram and NCR, strengthen brand and trust, invest in technology and operational capability, and expand its curated assortment.
