National, March 5th, 2025: Project Management Institute (PMI) has officially announced the launch of the 2025 PMI® Awards, a global program recognizing excellence in project management across five distinct categories. Nominations are now open and will be accepted until April 4, 2025.
The PMI Awards stand as a testament to the transformative power of project management, celebrating the individuals, projects, and organizations that are driving innovation and making a tangible difference in the world. These prestigious awards encompass a diverse spectrum of achievements, recognizing excellence across multiple domains. Winning a PMI Award provides professionals with a unique opportunity to gain recognition for their expertise, enhance their career prospects, and contribute to the advancement of the project management profession.
Talking about this development, Amit Goyal, Managing Director, PMI, South Asia, said, “The PMI Awards shine a light on inspiring people and influential projects that are elevating our world. We encourage project professionals, organizations, and academics from around the globe to nominate those who are making a difference. This year we see huge potential in the South Asian diaspora, a region brimming with talent and innovation, to nominate their successes across the categories in project management. We believe that many projects and professionals in the region are deserving of a global recognition. These awards are the benchmark in project management, and we want to showcase the stellar work being done in South Asia. We urge organizations and individuals to submit their nominations and share their success stories.”
The PMI Awards encompass five categories: PMI Professional Awards, PMIEF’s Kerzner Award for Excellence in Project Management, PMI Research & Academic Awards, PMI Chapter Awards, and PMI PMO Awards (formerly PMO Global Awards™).
Nominations are open through April 4, 2025, with no application fee, and can be submitted at [https://www.pmi.org/about/awards].
Winners will be announced in November 2025 at the PMI Global Summit in Phoenix, AZ.
