Rosmerta Secures ₹166.69 Cr BOOT Project to Develop 10 Automated Driving Testing Tracks in Maharashtra

10 ADTTs to be built under a 5-year agreement across key districts, reinforcing Rosmerta’s leadership in intelligent, contactless driving test solutions

Mumbai, 14th July, 2025: Rosmerta Group, India’s leading mobility solutions provider, has been awarded a landmark Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) project worth ₹166.69 Crores to develop 10 state-of-the-art Automated Driving Testing Tracks (ADTTs) across Maharashtra. The 5-year project strengthens Rosmerta’s position as a national leader in driving automation and road safety technology.

The 10 locations, namely, Sindhudurg, Sangli, Akluj, Osmanabad, Jalna, Hingoli, Yavatmal, Wardha, Bhandara, and Gadchiroli, will soon benefit from fully automated, video analytics-based driving test infrastructure. These tracks are designed to eliminate human bias in driver assessments, enabling real-time, transparent, and contactless evaluation of driving skills along with applicant verification using face-recognition.

Rosmerta’s patented system for automated driving tests leverages video analytics, advanced networks, and AI-driven decision engines to conduct driving assessments with high accuracy. The new Maharashtra ADTTs will feature customizable test parameters, real-time performance tracking, monitoring driver behaviour and the ability to simulate night driving and complex road scenarios, pushing the boundaries of testing precision in India.

Key Features of Rosmerta’s ADTT model:

  • Contactless Testing: 100% automation with zero human intervention
  • Real-Time Analytics: Online and real-time Video processing from multiple camera feeds to detect violations committed by candidate, while driving
  • Advanced Infrastructure: Capability for night tests, reverse S,Parking, and slope tracking
  • Proven Impact: Over 1.6 million tests conducted at Rosmerta ADTTs since inception
  • Exclusive Expertise: Operator of 12 government-run ADTTs in Delhi since 2021.

Kartick Nagpal, President, Rosmerta Group, stated, “This project marks another important milestone in our commitment to modernising India’s road safety infrastructure through technology. By deploying fully automated, contactless driving testing tracks across Maharashtra, we are enhancing transparency and consistency in driver assessments while making these services more accessible at the local level. We applaud the Maharashtra State Transport Department for taking a leadership role in building advanced, digital infrastructure that will contribute to safer roads and responsible driving across the state.”

Rosmerta’s expanding ADTT footprint is aligned with the Government of India’s push towards digitization and safer mobility ecosystems under the Surakshit Safar initiative. By deploying unbiased, data-driven driver assessment systems, Rosmerta is not only redefining the driver licensing process but also contributing to a long-term reduction in road accidents. By ensuring only genuinely qualified drivers are licensed, these tracks serve as a critical step toward safer roads, responsible driving, and a more secure future for all road users.
