*RS AAP MP Extends Condolences in the Aftermath of the Red Fort Explosion Incident*

New Delhi, November 12, 2025: AAP Rajya Sabha MP and Founder-Chancellor of Lovely Professional University (LPU), Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic explosion near Delhi’s Red Fort that claimed multiple lives and left several injured.

“Deeply shaken by this devastating incident, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones. A swift and rigorous investigation is paramount to determine the exact cause and to ensure that such tragedies are not repeated,” Dr. Mittal said.

Dr. Mittal emphasized that the priority must remain on learning from this incident, strengthening public awareness, improving compliance with safety norms, and reinforcing citizens’ confidence in the spaces they inhabit.

“The cause must be ascertained, and preventive measures kept in mind with public safety as the top priority. And if there are deeper causes, they must be addressed with equal resolve,” he added.
