In addition to this global recognition, Shoolini University has secured top global and national ranks across several UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It ranks #38 globally and 1st in India for SDG 13: Climate Action, #21 globally and 4th in India for SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy, and #22 globally and 3rd in India for SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation.

Speaking on the achievement, Prof. Atul Khosla, Vice Chancellor, Shoolini University, said, “We’re proud to be recognized on the global stage for the work we’re doing to create a more sustainable and equitable world. These rankings reflect the passion and purpose that drive our students, faculty, and researchers every day. At Shoolini, we believe education should not only inform but also transform by solving real-world problems and improving lives. This recognition motivates us to keep pushing boundaries and leading with impact.”
Introduced in 2019, the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings are the only global performance tables that assess universities against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These rankings evaluate institutions based on real-world impact achieved through research, teaching, community outreach, and stewardship, recognising meaningful contributions to global challenges such as climate change, clean energy, equitable education, and health.
These accomplishments reflect Shoolini University’s emergence as a globally engaged, research-intensive institution with a strong social purpose. Through its sustainability-driven initiatives, innovative pedagogical approaches, and collaborative partnerships, the university continues to set benchmarks in building a more just, inclusive, and environmentally responsible future.
