  • Welcomes students from 8–10 countries to compete in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and STEAM innovation challenges.
  • Introduces global mentorship, 6-month AI & Robotics internship, and high-value rewards for top-performing teams.

India, 19th December 2025 – STEMROBO Technologies, a K-12 Educational company focused on AI, Robotics and STEAM learning in schools, announced the global launch of STEAM Innovation League (SIL) 2.0, international edition of its flagship innovation competition. SIL 2.0 will bring together 5,000 schools, 30,000 – 50,000 students, and nearly 10,000 teams from 8 – 10 countries, providing a platform for young innovators to collaborate, compete, and develop real-world solutions.

This year’s theme, “Building Sustainable Futures Through Innovation,” underscores the need for young innovators to address real-world global challenges. With SIL 2.0 going international, sustainability creates a common ground for students worldwide to collaborate on solutions aligned with the UN SDGs. Participants will tackle challenges in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, sustainable engineering, energy, environmental protection, automation, safety, and community impact.

The competition will follow a multi-stage structure, beginning with a Virtual Round where students submit concept notes and project videos. Shortlisted teams will advance to State Rounds hosted by partner schools across different regions. The final stages, the National Round and the International Round, are planned to be held in Delhi around August, bringing together students from 8–10 countries on a single global stage.

Anurag Gupta, Co-founder of STEMROBO Technologies, said, “SIL 2.0 represents a major step forward in how we prepare students for an AI- and robotics-led future. What the industry needs today is not just theoretical knowledge, but young talent that can think globally, collaborate across cultures, and apply technology to solve real problems. SIL 2.0 creates that environment, a global innovation platform where students experience international standards, diverse perspectives, and hands-on problem-solving at scale.”

He added, “Our vision has always been to make STEM, Robotics, and AI skills accessible to every learner, no matter where they are. By taking SIL to a global stage, we’re enabling students to see how their ideas can create real impact, influence communities, and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with innovations from around the world.”

Top teams will receive 1:1 global mentorship, a 6‑month Robotics & AI internship, and international online exposure. These components are intended to extend students’ learning beyond the competition and support their continued skill development.

Following the previous edition, SIL 2.0 will see students from around the world progress through successive rounds, culminating in the international finals in Delhi. The league provides a structured platform for students to engage with real-world challenges and apply technology in a global context.
