Class XII- Humanities students of DPS Indirapuram organized a constitutional debate on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti as a tribute to the Father of the Constitution, Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar. The debate served as a platform for students to delve into the complexities of our constitutional framework.
The debate aimed to shed light on a small fragment of the discussion on the agenda of Centre-state relations that took place in the Constituent Assembly 75 years ago. Various students depicted the agenda as prominent Indian leaders like Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Dr. Ambedkar, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Vallabhai Patel, and many others, highlighting their views.
Ms. Priya John, Principal, DPS Indirapuram, expressed, “We are immensely proud of our Class XII-Humanities students for organizing such an insightful debate. Through the portrayal of key Indian leaders, our students thoughtfully demonstrated Centre-state relations. We applaud their dedication and their commitment to upholding the values of our Indian Constitution.”
