Team building Bristol

Planning a corporate event is not easy task – even for the most talented delegate. Finding something that engages every member of the team can be tricky, especially when the participants’ commonalities may end with their employer!

But there is hope. Organising Team building in Bristol is easy, thanks to the plethora of entertaining, original and motivational experiences the city has to offer.

Escape room challenge

Working together is an essential skill in any escape room challenge, which makes it the perfect activity for a team building event. There are plenty of escape room options in Bristol, with a huge range of themes. However, for larger groups, Locked in A Room located at Bristol’s Harbourside delivers. With the ability to accommodate up to 52 players, your party can split into teams and race simultaneously in multiple rooms. The race is on to crack the code and be the first team to escape! This added competitive edge is a guaranteed way to get everyone working together.

West Country Games

West Country Games offer nine wild, wacky and (sometimes) downright weird games that are guaranteed to have your party in hysterics. Nestled in the heart of the countryside, you can challenge your teammates to games such as Cider run, Welly Wanging, Vicky Pollard Handbags and Pitchfork duel, to name a few. You and your party can round off an action-packed day with a delicious West country lunch at the on-site farm restaurant. The Welsh equivalent, Welsh Games is just over the River Severn, and promises all of the hilarities of West Country Games but with a wonderfully Welsh twist. Duffin Daffyd, Rugby Run and Drunk dragons are three of the nine games that give you the opportunity to take on your managers physically, without getting the sack! Voted number one on TripAdvisor, it’s the best team building Cardiff has to offer.

Murder Mystery

Whether this is an annual conference, or a training event, corporate days can feel long and maintaining momentum is a challenge. So what better way to lighten the mood than with a murder (and no, we don’t mean the boss!) Murder Mystery Meals have been killing people since 1996, (metaphorically speaking!). Able to accommodate numbers from 12 to 150, it’s a truly unique dining experience.. From the moment your guests arrive they will be engrossed in a murder plot. Five actors will mingle during pre-dinner drinks, unbeknown to the rest of the party, 10 to 12 colleagues will also be immersed in the plot, and the drinks end with a murder. Between courses, tables will work together using the clues to figure out who did it and find the murderer. It may even be you!

Corporate cooking events

Can you cook a better Bolognese than your boss? There’s only one way to find out! A cooking class cook off is bound to engage every member of your party. The Bristol-based company Cooking It has some delectable menu choices, including Tapas Galore, Mystery bag and even a Mexican chilli cookoff! Your designated teacher//chef will walk you through the recipes and help you with any questions you may have. Their large kitchen accommodates groups of up to 25 people, and they even let you BYOB!

Adventure Bristol

Located in the Wild Place, Bristol (just off the M5), Adventure Bristol is a purpose-built activity course, designed to get the adrenaline pumping and test your team-building skills. You and your fellow adventurers can choose from a range of exciting outdoor activities. If your team have a head for heights, don’t miss the Leap of Faith – the crown jewel of Adventure Bristol. Navigate through the daring high rope course, climb the 25 ft pole and then test your nerve by jumping into thin air to reach the bag! But you’re not restricted to aerial activities – or indeed land-based challenges! Adventure Bristol offer raft building, canoeing and even dragon boating, which provide a fun alternative to more traditional corporate events.
