Tere Ishq Mein – Plot summary

Dhanush plays the role of a Flight Lieutenant named Shankar. He is a hot-headed person, who becomes a case of investigation for Mukti Beniwal (played by Kriti Sanon). Mukti is a psychology research scholar working for the military. She studies Shankar’s aggressive behavior, as part of her PhD research. Shankar falls in love with Mukti, but the relationship does not end well.

Many years later, their paths cross again. The story of Tere Ishq Mein explores various aspects of relationships such as ego, obsession, regret, healing and sacrifice. Throughout the movie, the overall theme seems familiar to the predecessor movie Raanjhanaa, especially the emotional intensity.
