Muqabla 2025 Brings Students Together to Compete in Culinary, Hospitality and Business Challenges
New Delhi, 25th September 2025: Vedatya is thrilled to announce Muqabla 2025, a thrilling competition aimed at bringing out the talent, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit in schools between grades 9 and 12. Students are in for an unexampled experience on October 8, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Vedatya Institute, Garhi Bazidpur, where they can get to taste the culinary arts world, hospitality, and business innovation.
Muqabla 2025 will witness four competitions. The first one is The Budding Chef Competition 2025, titled “Reviving Culinary Heritage of India”, where the contest participants are invited, and they will have to cook a traditional Indian dish that is not too well known, forgotten over generations, or nostalgic in nature and takes us back in time. The competitors will have an opportunity to showcase their products in front of experienced judges, placing equal focus on presentation and taste. The Ad-Mad Show tests the ingenuity of teams in coming up with innovative ad concepts from real client briefs, testing creativity and marketing competencies. On the Pitch Your Dream Hospitality Start-Up Idea track, students have an opportunity to design a business plan for a start-up hospitality business, exhibiting feasibility, strategic thinking, and numeracy. Moreover, the Be a Digital Influencer challenge offers students the opportunity to produce compelling content, cementing the significance of social media within the hospitality and culinary sectors.
“Muqabla 2025 is a fantastic initiative that we started almost 10 years back, it encourages young minds to explore their creativity, leadership, and entrepreneurial potential. At Vedatya, we believe in nurturing talent through experiential learning, and competitions like these provide students a platform to innovate, collaborate, and grow. We are excited to see the ideas, skills, and passion these students bring to the table, and we are committed to supporting them on their journey to becoming future leaders in culinary, hospitality, and business sectors,” said Sandeep Munjal, Director at Vedatya.
Indic Roots, the event’s principal sponsor, is a leading ready-to-eat brand known for its wholesome, preservative-free meals that combine traditional Indian recipes with modern food technology. Through this collaboration, the brand seeks to inspire the next generation of culinary talent to think innovatively about food while staying rooted in India’s rich culinary heritage.
