The Lagoon at Epperson – Located in Wesley Chapel, Florida, USA, this man-made pool covers an area of 30,540.9 m2 (328,739 sq. ft.). The pool was opened in 2017 and utilizes sea water. A number of facilities are available for visitors such as inflatable slide, beach toys, swim-up bar, beach volleyball, etc.

Ostrava Poruba – Vřesina – This is the largest of its kind swimming pool in Central Europe. Located in Ostrava city in Czech Republic, the pool covers an area of around 41,200 m2 (443,000 sq. ft.). The pool has fresh water. There are separate pools for non-swimmers and children as well. One of the main attractions is a huge 100-meter water slide.

The biggest attraction is the pool, the largest of its kind in Asia. The man-made pool measures 72,000 m2 (780,000 sq. ft.). The pool gets its water from the nearby sea. San Alfonso del Mar – Located in Algarrobo city in Chile, the resort of San Alfonso del Mar is home to the world’s second largest man-made pool. Opened in 2006, the swimming pool was once listed in the Guinness Book of World Records. The pool is spread across an area of 80,000 m2 (860,000 sq. ft.). Water for the pool is sourced from nearby Pacific Ocean. Water is first treated before it is channeled into the pool. It can hold around 66 million US gallons (250 million liters) of water.

Citystars Sharm El Sheikh – The world’s largest pool is located in Egyptian city Sharm El Sheikh. It is located inside a gated community with the name ‘Citystars Sharm El Sheikh’. The property provides panoramic views of Tiran Island, Red Sea and a natural reserve. The pool is the world’s largest man-made lagoon, which measures a staggering 120,000 square meters. This pool uses seawater sourced from nearby ocean. The property also includes around 22 km of white sandy beaches. Plus, there are various restaurants, luxury hotels, 18-hole golf course, and branded residential apartments and villas.
