- Mumbai, 26th May 2026: In a move to accelerate profitability in the digital business and propel the growth momentum, leading Content and Technology powerhouse, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (‘Z’), has further fortified its digital advertisement revenue team with the appointment of Shipra Wahi as Chief Sales Officer for Zee 5. In this role, Shipra will be responsible for driving the strategic revenue approach for Zee 5 across sales, strategy and operations with a strong focus on enhancing monetization opportunities to build a future-ready digital sales ecosystem. Shipra will be based out of the Company’s office in Noida and will report to Sandeep Mehrotra, Chief Operating Officer – Advertisement Revenue.
In line with its ambitions to build a robust growth trajectory for Zee 5, the Company is implementing the required steps to unlock newer monetization avenues that will contribute towards enhancing profitability in the digital segment.
Judicious investments coupled with a robust content slate and seamless user experience have enabled Zee 5 to build a positive growth momentum, and the Company remains focused on building scale by delivering meaningful value to the advertisers.

Previously, Shipra was associated with Meta, where she built and scaled creator partnerships, driving strategic growth and ecosystem development across the creator economy. During her journey, she has developed deep expertise in partnerships, digital ecosystems, monetization, and growth strategy across high-impact consumer and technology businesses.
