Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering and Technology (ALIET), Vijayawada, successfully hosted the fourth day of INNOVATHON 2025, an event organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). The day highlighted 32 innovative student projects from the Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) department, coordinated by Dr. Naveen Kumar, Head of the Department. Mr. Narendra Babu, Assistant Professor in the EEE Department at SRK Institute of Technology, Vijayawada, served as one of the judges. The projects presented ranged from automatic water level controllers to hydroelectric power plant models.
In addition, 23 projects from the MBA department were showcased, guided by Dr. Vijay Kumar, Head of the MBA Department. Dr. K.V. Siva Prasad, Chairman of RPAC at K.L. Business School, K.L. University, Vaddeswaram, Guntur, served as a judge for these projects. The MBA students presented innovative solutions including smart trolleys and drone-assisted services etc.
The Civil Engineering department, coordinated by Mr. Nagaraju, Head of the Civil Department, displayed 14 projects. Dr. Lashmi Keshav, Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education, Vijayawada, judged these projects. The topics included rainwater harvesting systems, biophilic design concepts etc.
Rev. Fr. Dr. Joji Reddy, S.J., Secretary and Director of ALIET, took a keen interest in viewing all the projects. His ongoing mentorship and commitment to student development have been a source of inspiration for both faculty and students alike. His involvement in reviewing the projects underscored his dedication to promoting technological excellence at the institute.
INNOVATHON 2025 exemplified ALIET’s dedication to providing a platform for students to present cutting-edge solutions to real-world challenges.
