Faridabad, June 18, 2025: Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS) has secured significant positions in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2025. These rankings evaluate how universities across the world are contributing towards the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through real-time outcomes in research, campus practices, outreach, and student learning.
This year, MRIIRS has ranked first in Haryana for No Poverty (SDG 1), Zero Hunger (SDG 2), Gender Equality (SDG 5), Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure (SDG 9), Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11), Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12), and Life Below Water (SDG 14) and fourth for Partnership for the Goals (SDG 17). The university holds second position in Haryana for Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3), Climate Action (SDG 13), and Life on Land (SDG 15), while ranking third for Clean Water and Sanitation (SDG 6).
In Delhi NCR, MRIIRS stands first for Gender Equality (SDG 5) and Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure (SDG 9), second for Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12), and fifth for Affordable and Clean Energy (SDG 7).
At the national level, MRIIRS continues to make its mark with top-20 positions across several critical SDGs. It has secured 9th rank in India for Gender Equality (SDG 5), 11th for Zero Hunger (SDG 2), and 11th for Life Below Water (SDG 14).
