National, 3rd June 2026: Eloelo Group, one of India’s leading consumer internet platforms, which operates Story TV (India’s leading microdrama platform), Master (India’s leading microlearning platform) and more has appointed Rohit Saini as Director of Data Science. The appointment reflects the Group’s continued focus on strengthening and innovating its AI-driven capabilities across its microdrama, micro-learning and other products.

In his new role, Rohit will lead the group-wide AI infrastructure focus across Story TV, Master and more, drawing from his experience in building production-scale AI systems across legacy media and global enterprise platforms. His mandate will focus on driving AI initiatives aimed at enhancing discovery, personalisation and engagement across the group’s ecosystem.

Rohit brings over 9 years of experience across generative AI, search and consumer-scale AI systems. At Zee, he was instrumental in creating India’s first production text-to-music generation model built on Meta’s MusicGen, enabling the creation of AI-generated music that blends Indian and Western instruments. He also worked on knowledge graph-based discovery and personalisation systems that improved content discovery and contributed to watch-time growth across millions of users.

Prior to joining Eloelo Group, Rohit served as Vice President – Generative AI at Wells Fargo, where he led the development of a patent-pending RAG-based virtual assistant.

Story TV was one of the first microdrama platforms to leverage AI first capabilities in 2025 and has deployed AI first workflows for its Script Prediction Engine: a custom-built technology layer powered by millions of audience interactions and content signals that combines the best of technology and creativity to assist writers with microdrama scripts. Story TV has also deployed AI workflows across its entire production pipeline to innovate across newer genres and concepts in microdramas.

An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Science, Rohit specialises in building AI systems that move from research to real-world consumer use across GenAI, recommendations and intelligent search.

Commenting on the appointment, GSN Aditya, COO, Eloelo Group, said: “At Eloelo Group, we believe AI-driven workflows will play a defining role in unlocking human creativity at scale. As entertainment becomes more personalised, participative and fast-moving, AI will not replace creativity, but expand what creators, storytellers and product teams can build. Rohit’s experience in production-scale AI and media-tech systems will strengthen this vision as we continue building for Bharat across Story TV, Master and the group.”

Commenting on joining Eloelo Group, Rohit Saini said: “The entertainment industry is moving towards greater content velocity, sharper personalisation and more intelligent discovery. Eloelo Group is well placed to build for this shift across entertainment and learning which is exciting to me. I look forward to strengthening its AI and data science capabilities, helping accelerate content workflows while enabling users to discover and engage with the content most relevant to them.”

His appointment comes as Eloelo Group continues to scale its presence across entertainment and micro-learning platforms, with Story TV recently emerging among India’s top downloaded apps in Q1 2026, according to Sensor Tower.
