Satish Kumar Gautam is an Indian politician and a Member of Parliament (MP) from the Lok Sabha constituency of Aligarh in the state of Uttar Pradesh. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Satish Kumar Gautam defeated his nearest rival Arvind Kumar Singh of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) by a margin of more than 2.8 lakh votes. Throughout his political career, Gautam has focused on projects that aim to undertake development activities in the villages. Improvement of social, health and economic status of people living in villages has been one of the top priorities for Satish Kumar Gautam. He has significantexperience in social service, as he has been associated with the RSS since his school days. It has helped his grooming in the right manner, allowing him to better serve the society and its people.
Early Life and Education
Satish Kumar Gautam was born on July 01, 1972 to Shri Damodar Gautam and Smt. Ram Devi Gautam. He was born in Sarha village, which is located in Aligarh district in Uttar Pradesh. He has completed his education up to Metric level. He is a businessperson by profession. He married Meenakshi Gautam on April 30, 1993.
